M:\MasterFiles\1999 thru 2010\2000\City Council\Council Packets\08-14-00\Item No. 10G--Ratifying Appointment of Election Judges--Givonna Reed.doc <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5457 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE <br />2000 PRIMARY ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is required by law to hold a State Primary <br />and General Municipal Election; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, any individual who is eligible to vote in an election precinct is <br />qualified to be appointed as an election judge for that precinct; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no more than half of the election judges working on any given shift <br />may be members of the same political party; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all proposed election judges listed on the attached sheet have met <br />all of the State qualifications for the position of election judge. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby ratify the appointment of election judges made by the Mayor <br />on August 14, 2000.
