SJR-184057v1 <br />MU210-48 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 666 <br /> <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN UNUSED AND PREVIOUSLY <br />TRAVELED PORTION OF EDGEWOOD DRIVE IN THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS VIEW. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the right-of-way for Edgewood Drive has been physically reconstructed and <br />realigned, with such realigned right-of-way for Edgewood Drive to be dedicated to the public <br />pursuant to the plat of Mounds View City Hall Addition; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the former right-of-way for Edgewood Drive, as legally described on Exhibit <br />A, is no longer needed for a public purpose; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, any person, corporation or City owning or controlling utility easements <br />contained upon the property vacated reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter <br />upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend <br />thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is intended that any person, corporation or city owning or controlling utility <br />easements contained upon the property vacated shall realign the same with the realigned right-of- <br />way for Edgewood Drive to be dedicated to the public pursuant to the plat of Mounds View City <br />Hall Addition. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City of Mounds View Municipal Code Appendix D is hereby amended to <br />include reference to the following Special Ordinance No. 666. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The City has made a determination that the land constituting the public <br />roadway easement of the previously traveled Edgewood Drive is no longer needed for a public <br />purpose, and as such, it is in the public interest to vacate such portion of the previously traveled <br />Edgewood Drive roadway easement described as follows: <br /> <br />See Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. The public utilities or facilities located in the portion of the Edgewood Drive <br />roadway easement area to be vacated described in Exhibit A of this ordinance are intended to be <br />relocated to the realigned right-of-way for Edgewood Drive to be dedicated to the public pursuant <br />to the plat of Mounds View City Hall Addition.
