SJR-184037v1 <br />MU210-48 <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 669 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL BY SALE <br />OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY CITY <br /> <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Appendix D of the Mounds View Municipal Code entitled “’Special Ordinances” <br />is hereby amended to include reference to the following Ordinance 669. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The City of Mounds View owns an approximate 1 acre parcel of land in <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, the legal description of the property being as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 30 <br />North, Range 23 West, Ramsey County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of the <br />northeasterly right-of-way line of State Trunk Highway No. 10-62, lying south of the <br />westerly extension of the south line of Lot 19, Block 5, Pinewood Terrace No. 2. <br />according to the recorded plat thereof, Ramsey County, Minnesota, and lying <br />southeasterly of the following described line: <br /> <br />Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 22, Block 5, said Pinewood Terrace <br />No. 2; thence southerly on an assumed bearing of South 00 degrees 46 minutes <br />46 seconds East, along the west line of said Lot 22, a distance of 73.58 feet to the <br />point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southerly a distance of <br />330.62 feet along a tangential curve concave to the northwest having a radius of <br />383.00 feet and a central angle of 49 degrees 27 minutes 34 seconds; thence <br />South 48 degrees 40 minutes 48 seconds West, tangent to the last described <br />curve, a distance of 186.68 feet to the northeasterly right-of-way line of State <br />Trunk Highway No. 10-62 and there terminating. <br /> <br />Subdivision 2. Meridian Properties Redevelopment, LLC, d/b/a TOLD Development <br />Company has applied for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to construct a Walgreens <br />Drugstore and restaurant on the City property, has offered approximately 8.0 acres of land <br />commonly known as the “Midland Videen land” in exchange for the City property, and has <br />offered to make certain improvements to both properties. In exchange for such land and <br />improvements, the City desires to convey the property to allow development thereof. The City <br />Council has determined that conveyance of the City property will further the public interest. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 3. As provided by Section 12.05 of the City Charter, the City Council <br />authorizes conveyance of the above-referenced property to Meridian Properties Redevelopment, <br />LLC, d/b/a TOLD Development Company pursuant to the terms of a Contract for Private
