RESOLUTION NO. 5439 <br />Adjust salaries of full time female dominated positions for pay equity and authorize various <br />budget modifications for personnel related issues <br /> <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is committed to remaining in compliance with the State of Minnesota Pay Equity <br />Act; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is presently out of compliance with said act; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City had determined that based upon preliminary data, if the City raises the salary for <br />the four full time female dominated positions to the predicted pay line that it would be in compliance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City would need to modify its 2000 budget to fund such increases, in addition to modify <br />the 2000 budget to recruit a new City Administrator. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the <br />following monthly salaries are hereby approved, effective May 1, 2000: <br /> Administrative Assistant (4 individuals) $3,078.37 <br /> Payroll Technician (1 individual) 3,055.25 <br /> Accountant (1 individual) 3,928.95 <br /> Assistant to Clerk-Administrator (1) 4,238.64 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following budget modification is hereby approved: <br /> <br />General Fund Full Time Salary Benefits Other <br /> City Council + $235 + $35 - <br /> City Administrator + 820 + 115 - <br /> “ “ - recruitment - 16,500 - 1,500 + $18,000 <br /> Elections + 120 + 20 - <br /> Finance + 1,635 + 225 - <br /> Central Services + 1,440 + 200 - <br /> Community Development + 445 + 60 - <br /> Police + 445 + 60 - <br /> Other – contingency - - - 5,855 <br /> <br /> Contingency <br />Recycling + $100 + $15 - $ 115 <br />Street Lighting + 25 + 5 - 30 <br />Water – Admin + 255 + 35 - 290 <br />Water – Infrastructure + 170 + 25 - 195 <br />Wastewater – Admin + 255 + 35 - 290 <br />Wastewater – Infrastructure + 170 + 25 - 195 <br /> <br />
