<br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 607-00 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE 655, AN <br />ORDINANCE REZONING BRIDGES GOLF COURSE PARCELS FROM <br />CRP <br />(CONSERVANCY, RECREATION AND PRESERVATION) AND <br />I-1 (INDUSTRIAL) TO PF (PUBLIC FACILITIES) <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bridges Golf Course property is made up of a collection <br />of subdivided, platted and unplatted parcels; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has become aware that the zoning <br />of certain Bridges Golf Course parcels are inconsistent with the Zoning Code and <br />wishes to initiate a rezoning to bring them into compliance with said Zoning <br />Code and proposed Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following legally-described golf course properties are <br />zoned CRP, Conservancy, Recreation and Preservation: <br /> <br />That Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section <br />5, Township 30, <br />Range 23, lying north and west of State Highway 10 Right of Way, and, <br /> <br />Those parts of Lots 3, 4, 13 and 14, Block 1, Laport Meadows, <br /> lying north of State Highway 10 Right of Way; and , <br /> <br />Those parts of Lots 1 – 5, Block 2, Laport Meadows, lying north <br />of State Highway 10 right of way; and , <br /> <br />All of Lots 1, 2 and 15, Block 1, Laport Meadows. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following legally-described golf course property is <br />zoned I-1, Industrial: <br /> Lot 4, Block 1, North Star Industrial Park 2nd Add <br /> <br /> Outlot A, North Star Industrial Park 2nd Add <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission believes that the <br />above legally described parcels should be rezoned PF, Public Facilities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that the <br />proposed zoning would resolve an inconsistency between the Zoning Code and <br />proposed Comprehensive Plan; and,
