As a result, communities are required to <br />develop and adopt a business subsidy policy for all subsidies granted after August 1st, 1999. <br /> <br />The policy recommended by the EDC was reviewed at the March 6th Work Session. A public <br />hearing is set for the March 13th Council Meeting. In accordance with the legislation, it is <br />necessary for both the City Council and the EDA to adopt a policy. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Consider adoption of the City’s Business Subsidy Policy <br />
