mounds View City Council September. 23, 1991 <br />lar Meeting Page Seven <br />Alice Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road asked if the police can ticket <br />persons for speeding on that road? <br />Mayor Linke stated the speed limit can be enforced but the City <br />has no jurisdiction over the posted speed limit. <br />A comment was made concerning enforcement at the four way stop at <br />Long Lake Road and County Road I. Mayor Linke agreed that this was a <br />problem intersection, however, the police cannot be at all locations <br />at all times. <br />REPORT OF ADMINISTRATOR: <br />1. Samantha Orduno, City Administrator is attending the International <br />City Managers Association Conference in Boston. <br />REPORT OF STAFF: <br />1. Construction of the water treatment plant is on schedule. The <br />walls will be put up next week. Bronson Drive will be based and <br />paved the end of this week or beginning of next week. Weather <br />had not been the most cooperative. <br />REPORT OF ATTORNEY: <br />Mark Barney, City Attorney, had no report, however, Barney requested that <br />the Council Meet in Closed Meeting on Monday, October 7, 1991 at 6:30 p.m. <br />at Mounds View City Hall regarding a litigation. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Linke adjourned <br />the meeting at 7:34 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~~ <br />Michele verson <br />Deputy erk <br />• <br />
