Resolution 1084-18, Recommending Approval of a One-Year Extension of a <br />Conditional Use Permit for a Multi-Family Dwelling, for MWF Properties, <br />LLC <br /> <br />City Planner/Supervisor Sevald stated MWF Properties received a Conditional Use Permit <br />(CUP) on May 8, 2017, for a Multiple-Family Dwelling to be located at the northwest corner of <br />Mounds View Blvd and Groveland Road. CUP’s become invalid after one year, if construction is <br />not complete. MWF Properties is actively pursuing approval of a subdivision, required prior to <br />beginning construction. An extension of the CUP is necessary to comply with conditions of the <br />CUP. Staff recommended the Planning Commission approve the one-year extension of the CUP <br />as requested. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Rundle/Commissioner Stevenson. To approve Resolution <br />1084-18, a Resolution Recommending Approval of a One-Year Extension of a Conditional Use <br />Permit for a Multiple-Family Dwelling. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 1 (Klebsch) Motion carried. <br />_____________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />6. Upcoming Planning Cases & Activity <br /> <br />City Planner/Supervisor Sevald discussed upcoming planning cases. <br /> <br />B. Staff Updates <br /> <br />City Planner/Supervisor Sevald provided the Commission with an update on Crossroad Pointe. <br />He reported the shooting range will not happen in Mounds View. He reported the City would be <br />holding a Town Hall meeting on Monday, April 30th at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />C. Council Updates <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He noted the Council Introduced the Off-Sale Liquor and Front Porch Setback <br />Ordinance at their recent meeting. In addition, the City Council approved the installation of <br />splash pad equipment at City Hall Park. He commented on the proposed changes that would <br />occur at the YMCA. He discussed the redevelopment plans for the Skyline Motel.
