RESOLUTION 1080-17 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY OF MOUNDS <br />VIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TASKFORCE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is required to update its Comprehensive Plan every ten years, with <br />the current update to be submitted to adjacent communities and agencies by spring, 2018, and <br />submitted to the Metropolitan Council by December 31, 2018; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan will address; Land Use, Transportation, Water <br />Resources, Parks & Recreation, Housing, Resilience (optional), Economic Competitiveness <br />(optional), and Implementation, and is intended to be consistent with the Metropolitan Council’s <br />regional plan; Thrive 2040; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered the process of updating the Comprehensive <br />Plan at its June 6, 2016 Work Session, consenting to appointing a Taskforce consisting of nine <br />members representing the City Council (1), Planning Commission (2), Parks, Recreation, & <br />Forestry Commission (2), Economic Development Commission (2), and At-Large Residents (2); <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission solicited interest from its members; and, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommends the following Commissioners be appointed to the Comprehensive Plan Taskforce: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 15th day of November, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br />Gary Stevenson, Chair <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jon Sevald, City Planner/Supervisor <br />(SEAL)
