Mounds View Planning Commission <br />Regular Meeting <br />September 7, 2016 <br />Page 4 <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He explained the Council had signed a contract with a consultant to assist the City with <br />updating its antiquated website. He discussed the progress being made on the design of the new <br />Public Works facility. He indicated the Council was also addressing the childcare provider at the <br />Community Center. He was proud to report Police Chief Nate Harder was sworn in at the <br />Council's last meeting. He reported the Council was working with MnDOT to ensure a sound <br />wall was constructed along US Highway 10 across from Medtronic as part of the I35W MnPASS <br />project. Residents in the LaPort neighborhood would be voting on this matter at an upcoming <br />neighborhood meeting. He was proud of the fact that County Highway 10 in Mounds View had <br />been changed on Google Maps to Mounds View Boulevard. <br />D. Planning Commissioner Reports <br />None. <br />8. Approval of Minutes <br />The Commission did not have a quorum to take action on the Planning Commission minutes <br />from July 20, 2016. <br />9. Next Planning Commission Meeting: <br />A.
