Item No: 6B
Meeting Date: February 19, 2014
Type of Business: Other Planning Activity

City of Mounds View Staff Report
To: Mounds View Planning Commission
From: Heidi Heller, Planning Associate
Item Title/Subject: Crossroad Pointe Development Area

Discussion:
On January 27, 2014, the City hosted an open house for residents to see three concept
ideas that Stantec, our planning consultants, put together for the city-owned four acre site
now known as “Crossroad Pointe.” This open house also gave attendees a chance to
comment on the three ideas, offer any other suggestions, and answer some questions about
the site in general. We received the tallied results of the open house comments from the
Stantec team. There was no consensus of what anyone would like to see, or not see, on the
site. The next step will be for Stantec to develop concept plans that show what uses could
be feasible in Mounds View, on this site.

Respectfully submitted,
Heidi Heller
Planning Associate

Attachments:
1. 3 Development Concept Ideas
2. Open house results for Crossroad Pointe
