ounds View City Council <br />~egular Meeting <br />Page Two <br />July 27, 1992 <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />MOTION1SECOND: Linke/Quick to adopt Resolution No. 4257 Commending <br />Peter Szurek for Refinishing Woodcrest Park Building <br />Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4257 Commending Peter Szurek for <br />Refinishing the Woodcrest Park Building. <br />VO 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke presented the above referenced resolution of commendation <br />to Peter Szurek and thanked him on behalf of the residents of the <br />City for his work in the repair and repainting of Woodcrest Park <br />building as his project-for an Eagle Scout Award. <br />MOTIONLSECOND: Linke/Wuori to adopt Resolution No. 4256 Commending <br />Bryan Rife for Construction of a Landscape Border Around the Horseshoe <br />Courts at Silver View Park <br />• Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4256 Commending Bryan Rife for <br />Construction of a Landscape Border Around the Horseshoe Courts at <br />Silver View Park. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke presented the above referenced resolution of commendation <br />to Bryan Rife and thanked him on behalf of the residents of the City <br />for his work in the construction of a timber landscape border for the <br />horseshoe courts at Silver View Park. <br />Update on Long Lake Road Project: It was noted by Mayor Linke that <br />Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer had left work <br />early today because of illness. Mr. Minetor was called back to work <br />and is on his way in. <br />RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, asked if the Council would accept the <br />comments that normally would be given at this time after the Long Lake Road <br />Update. <br />Mayor Linke assured Mr. McCarty that the Council would hear the comments <br />from the residents after the Long Lake Road Update presentation by Ric <br />Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer. <br />• <br />
