<br />Item No: 6A <br />Meeting Date: June 17, 2009 <br />Type of Business: Action <br /> <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> <br />To: Mounds View Planning Commission <br />From: Heidi Heller, Planning Associate <br />Item Title/Subject: Proposed Code Amendments <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Introduction: <br /> <br />After the discussion at the May 20, 2009 Planning Commission, staff has prepared four of the <br />city code amendments for the Commission to review and take action on. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />Due to the long length of some of the amendments, staff requests that the Planning <br />Commission see the attached resolutions to review the proposed language changes. The <br />changes are indicated by deleting the stricken language and adding the underlined text. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission should review the proposed zoning code amendments and <br />recommend changes or act on the attached resolutions: <br /> <br />1. Resolution 900-09: Remove “decks” from allowed encroachments <br />2. Resolution 901-09: Change accessory building height <br />3. Resolution 902-09: Remove the R-O, Residential-Office zoning district <br />4.
