<br /> <br />PUD/Senior Housing Code Amendment <br />Page 2 <br />August 6, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(5) The parking recommendations are as follows, unless the City Council <br />determines more or less parking stalls would serve a better purpose: Parking spaces <br />required are: <br /> <br />(a) Independent living = 1 space per unit with half of the spaces <br />enclosed <br /> (b) Assisted living = 0.5 spaces per unit <br /> (c) Nursing homes and memory care = 1 space for every 4 beds <br /> (d) Facility staff = 1 space for every employee on the largest shift <br /> <br /> <br />(6) The permanent residents residing in independent living units shall be limited <br />to persons who are 55 years of age or over except that one other person may reside in <br />any senior or elderly housing unit including his or her spouse, parent, foster parent, or <br />legal guardian. <br /> <br />(6) The permanent residents shall be limited to persons who are 55 years of age <br />or over except that one other person may reside in any senior or elderly housing unit <br />including his or her spouse, parent, foster parent, or legal guardian. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br /> The Planning Commission should review the proposed ordinance as it does with all <br />amendments to the Zoning Code.
