Mounds View Planning Commission August 22, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Community Development Director Ericson suggested allowing the variance to lapse and <br />requiring Tyson Company to reapply for a variance if they again decide to move forward with <br />expansion plans. He stated he did not believe the new plans would be the same as originally <br />presented. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stevenson/Miller, to approve Resolution No. 873-07, a Resolution denying <br />the extension of a Variance for Reduced Building and Parking Setbacks for Tyson Company, at <br />4825 Mustang Circle, Planning Case VR2006-006. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Comprehensive Plan – Chapters 1 and 2 <br /> <br />Planning Associate Heller reminded Commission members that they were asked to review <br />chapters one and two of the Comp Plan and consider new information for addition or items for <br />removal. She stated staff would bring these suggestions to the next Comp Plan Task Force <br />meeting on August 29, 2007. <br /> <br />C. Discussion of Four Comp Plan Questions <br /> <br />The Planning Commission discussed the questions asking what each member felt were Mounds <br />View’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Staff recorded the answers and will be <br />asking the Comp Plan Task Force the same questions at their next meeting. <br /> <br />7. Next Planning Commission Meetings: <br />A. September 5, 2006 <br />B. September 195, 2007 <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />8.
