<br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 781-05 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CODE <br />AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current City Code regulations pertaining to Planned Unit <br />Developments contains an inconsistency regarding building height; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed Chapter 1120 of the Zoning <br />Code and has determined an amendment should be adopted to clarify the height <br />requirements consistent with the stated purpose and intent of the PUD Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of an amendment to Chapter 1120 of the Mounds View <br />Zoning Code substantially similar to the following: <br /> <br />Section 1120.02: <br /> <br />Subd. 12. Building Height: Height limitations shall be the same as imposed in the <br />respective districts unless additional height or stories would serve a better <br />purpose consistent with the intent of this Chapter. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission directs staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of <br />the minutes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 5th day of January, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Gary Stevenson, Chairperson <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />_____________________________________ <br />James Ericson, Community Dev.
