A. Dist. (dba Coronado Stone) - New <br />Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired <br />removed from the Consent Agenda. There were none. <br />Councilmember Blanchard asked if Auto Central had changed ownership <br />again. <br />Orduno explained that it had, in fact, changed ownership; one of <br />the partners had bought out the other partner. Orduno said the <br />City Staff would be meeting with the owner in the near future to <br />discuss the restrictions regarding the site plan and how many cars <br />• will be allowed on the site. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Blanchard to Adopt the Consent Agenda as <br />Presented <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />Mayor Linke explained that this portion of the meeting was <br />designated for anyone who wished to speak to the Council on items <br />that were not on the Agenda. <br />Roy Carlson, a match maker for Maxx Pro Boxing Productions, <br />reported that his purpose at the meeting, along with James Glancey, <br />President, was to request the City Council to approve Resolution <br />No. 4704, a Resolution Approving the Maxx Pro Boxing Events at the <br />Bel-Rae Ballroom for March 17, April 19 and May 19, 1995. He cited <br />the word "amateur" should be changed to "professional" on the <br />Resolution. Mr. Carlson explained that similar events have been <br />conducted in the past with no problems. He stated that the dates <br />of the events were satisfactory to the Police Lieutenant, who will <br />arrange to have officers present. Mr. Carlson summarized the <br />conditions of Resolution No. 4704 specifying that Items 1 and 2 <br />were in progress and affirmed that Items 3 through 6 would also be <br />. abided by. <br />
