Mounds View Planning Commission June 4, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated that he had received quotes for soil <br />borings on the property and those will be presented to the EDA on June 9, 2003 consideration. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated that Staff has developed additional <br />developer criteria and requested that the developers submit to the City additional information by <br />June 5, 2003 for consideration on June 9, 2003. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hegland asked for clarification on the reconveyance fees. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman explained that the City has control of the property <br />through a use deed and would need to convey the property back to Ramsey County before <br />purchasing it and there is a small fee involved in that. <br /> <br />Commissioner Song asked what the big ditch at 2946 County Road H2 was for. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated that it is a holding pond for runoff from <br />H2 but could be relocated to accommodate the residential redevelopment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zwirn asked how many soil borings would be taken in the intended acquisition <br />property. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated there would be approximately two in <br />that location. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Zwirn/Hegland. To Approve Resolution 729-03, a Resolution <br />Recommending Approval of the Acquisition of Tax Forfeited Property. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />7.
