He <br />asserted that the City of Minneapolis and other cities are going <br />broke and making budget cuts. <br />Mayor Linke explained the Council is in the process of reviewing <br />the first budget draft and will be holding hearings. He advised <br />the Council is not proposing any new staff or increases, and <br />invited Mr. Janke to attend the next budget meeting on July 10, <br />1995, at 6:00 p.m. <br />
