Mounds View City Council Page 3 <br />Regular Meeting July 24, 1995 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS' <br />There were no public hearings scheduled for this meeting. <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br />There were no Consent Agenda items brought forward for <br />consideration. <br />A. Consideration of Resolution No. 4795, Hiring of Recording <br />Secretary. Staff Report No. 95-1418C <br />Samantha Orduno, City Administrator reported that the contract <br />with Time Savers Off-Site Secretarial Services expired. <br />Orduno stated that because of the high cost associated with <br />Time Savers, the City advertised for a local person to record <br />the minutes. Orduno reported that Tamara Saefke had applied, <br />who is presently a Commission Secretary` for the City of <br />Fridley, recommends Ms. Saefke to the Council for the position <br />of Recording Secretary to the Council. <br />MOTION[SECOND: Trude/Hankner to Adopt Resolution No. 4795 <br />Approving the Hiring of Tamara Saefke as Recording Secretary <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />B. <br />Housing Inspector/Coordinator to the Metropolitan Council's <br />Livable Communities Advisory Committee, Staff Report No. 95- <br />1419C <br />Mayor Linke reported that he had become aware of this <br />Committee while attending a meeting with the Metro cities, the <br />Metropolitan Council and staff and felt that it would be best <br />to have a representative from the City on the Metropolitan <br />Livable Communities Advisory Committee. <br />Mayor Linke felt that Jennifer Bergman would be the best <br />candidate for appointment to the Committee. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4797 <br />Recommending and Supporting the Appointment of Jennifer <br />Bergman, Housing Inspector/Coordinator, to the Metropolitan <br />Council's Livable Communities Advisory Committee <br />Mayor Linke stated that the Metropolitan Council was asked to <br />
