MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATORi <br /> ,,,�y. <br /> DATE: DECEMBER 15, 1987 <br /> SUBJECT: CHARTER COMMISSION AMENDMENT <br /> Attached please find a letter from Charter Commission Chair <br /> Charlotte Forslund dated December 7, 1987 indicating that <br /> the Charter Commission at their meeting on November 19, 1987 <br /> unanimously voted to amend Chapter 4, Section 4. 02 of the <br /> Charter to comply with the recent statutory changes relating <br /> to deadlines for filing for elective office in municipal <br /> elections. <br /> Attached please find Ordinance No. 435 Amending the Charter <br /> to comply with these new requirements and the actions taken <br /> by the Charter Commission.
