" a <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 435 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> 4 ) COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, SECTION 4. 02 OF THE HOME <br /> RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br /> SECTION I. The Mounds View Charter Commission met on <br /> November 19, 1987 and unanimously approved an <br /> amendment to the Home Rule Charter to comply with <br /> the provisions of Minnesota Law relating to the <br /> timelines for filing for candidacy for local office. <br /> SECTION II. Chapter 4, Section 4. 02 is amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> Section 4. 02 Filing for Office. No earlier than <br /> seventy days nor later than fifty-six days <br /> before any municipal election, any resident of the <br /> city qualified under state law for elective office <br /> may by filing an affidavit and by paying a filing <br /> fee to the Clerk-Administrator in an amount as set <br /> by ordinance, have his/her name placed on the <br /> municipal election ballot. <br /> SECTION III.
