Johnson: <br /> As you may know, your term of office on the Mounds View <br /> Charter Commission expired in November of 1988. The Mounds <br /> View City Council assumed responsibility for appointing <br /> individuals to fill vacating terms of office when the <br /> current position-holder was not eligible for reappointment <br /> or had not submitted a letter to the District Court <br /> requesting reappointment. The City received copies of all <br /> letters that the District Court had on file requesting <br /> appointment to the Charter Commission and noted your name <br /> was not included among those interested individuals . <br /> Therefore, at a special meeting on the evening of March 6, <br /> 1989 the Mounds View City Council appointed a replacement <br /> for you on the Mounds View Charter Commission. <br /> The City Council and I would like to take this opportunity <br /> to offer you our sincerest thanks for your service on the <br /> Mounds View Charter Commission.
