At that time you advised me that the City should <br /> proceed on it's own to select new Charter Commission Members but <br /> that I should report back to you any actions which the City of <br /> Mounds View took with regard to that Charter Commission. <br /> The Commission did appoint the eight persons who had applied <br /> to the District COurt for appointment to the Charter Commission. <br /> I 'm enclosing a copy of the unapproved minutes of a special meeting <br /> held March 6 , 1989 in which the City Council appointed eight <br /> members . The certified copy of the minutes indicating these <br /> appointments will be sent to Susan Alliegro by the City <br /> Administrator. <br /> In the meantime, I wanted to send you a copy to keep you <br /> advised of this situation. I also wanted to Thank You very much for <br /> your kind help and cooperation in providing the information in a <br /> prompt matter to the City in assisting my office.
