MOUNDS VIEW CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> Minutes <br /> June 8, 1989 <br /> I . Meeting was called to order by Acting Chair Toborg <br /> at 7: 36 P.M. <br /> II. Roll Call Absent <br /> Darel Turner Charlynn Robertson <br /> Edward Trettel Judith Rowley <br /> Susan Hankner James Kavanaugh <br /> Arlene Werdien Leonard Burgers <br /> Robert Toborg Jerome Linke <br /> Jean Miller <br /> Lloyd Bardwell <br /> Virgil Beyer <br /> Stanley Haugen <br /> Joseph Witzman - oath not sent in, not eligible to <br /> vote. <br /> III. Approval of Minutes <br /> Motion by Susan Hankner, seconded by Edward Trettle <br /> to accept minutes of 12/8/88 as presented. Passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> IV. Election of Officers <br /> Robert Toborg nominated for Chair - declined <br /> nomination. <br /> Charlynn Robertson nominated for Chair . <br /> Edward Trettel volunteered for Vice-chair . <br /> Jean Miller volunteered for Secretary. <br /> Motion by Stanley Haugen, seconded by Darel Turner <br /> to close nominations. Passed unanimously. <br /> Motion by Susan Hankner, seconded by Darel Turner , <br /> to cast a white ballot for Chair, Vice Chair, and <br /> Secretary. Passed unanimously. <br /> Meeting turned over to Edward Trettel as new Vice- <br /> chair . <br /> V. New Business <br /> 1. Susan Hankner would like to see high school <br /> students and adults working on their G.E. D. on <br /> various local government commissions. <br /> After discussion the concensus is that they are <br /> welcome to be present as non-voting participants <br /> --they may participate in discussion, but they <br /> would not be in the quorum. <br />
