Consideration of Resolution No. 5070, Appointing Official Newspaper, Acting Mayor, Deputy Clerk <br />and Otftcial Depository for 1997. <br />Council member Quick nominated Roger Koopmeiners to be Acting Mayor. There were no other <br />nominations. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Stigney to Approve Resolution No. 5070, Appointing Official Newspaper, <br />Acting Mayor, Deputy Clerk and Official Depository. <br />Ms. Trude asked if Western Bank continues to remain the city's primary depository. <br />Mr. Kesel stated yes, Western Bank is the city's primary depository. <br />Mr. Whiting stag he has also received comments from residents in regard to the city's depositories and feels <br />perhaps at a future work session the council should discuss the city's investment policies, where the funds are <br />and that depository's relationship to Western Bank, etc. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />• <br />
