• <br />Page 1 <br />July 28, 1997 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />• <br />• <br />Regular Meeting <br />July 28,1997 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />*********************************************s********************************s*** <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor McCarty at 7:00 p.m. on July 28,1997. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />ROLL CALL <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor McCarty, Council members Trade, <br />Quick, Koopmeiners and Stigney <br />AL5O PRESENT: Chuck Whiting, Clerk Administrator <br />Pam Sheldon, Community Development Director <br />Cathy Bennett, Director of Economic Development <br />Jim Ericson, Planning Associate <br />Bob Long, City Attorney <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />Mayor McCarty took this opportunity to read a Proclamation proclaiming July 28, 1997 as Alice and Harry <br />Johnson Day in recognition of their 75th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Johnson and his son and daughter-in-law <br />were present to accept the proclamation on behaif of the family. <br />Mayor McCarty noted that at the last Council meeting he acknowiedged a number of people who were involved <br />in the Festival in the Park Celebration. At that time, he failed to acknowledge Post 761, Indianhead Council <br />who had 32 members help with the event. He extended his apologies and gratitude. <br />There were no additions to the Agenda. <br />
