CALL MEETING TO ORDER: <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor McCarty at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 1998. <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Mayor McCarty, Council members Koopmeiners, Gunn <br />Quick and Stigney <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chuck Whiting, Clerk Administrator <br />- Bruce Kessel, Finance Director <br />Rick Jopke, Community Development Director <br />Jim Ericson, Planning Assistant <br />Cathy Bennett, Economic Development Director <br />Bob Long, City Attorney <br />Mayor McCarty noted that he would like to move the Agenda ahead to Item 4 at this time. <br />4. SPECI:4L -ORDER OF B USINESS: <br />A. Recognition and Appreciation for Economic Development Director: <br />Mayor McCarty read and presented a plaque of Recognition and Appreciation from the City of Mounds <br />View to Cathy Bennett, Director of Economic Development. On behalf of the City Council, he extended <br />his sincere appreciation of her hard work and wished her the best of luck in her new endeavors. <br />Ms. Bennett thanked the Council and noted that her years of service at Mounds View have provided her <br />with a lot of experience and she looks forward to keeping posted on the progress of development within the <br />city. <br />
