Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance No. 611, Amending Cable Franchise <br />Ordinance No. 606, Article II, Section 4, Franchise Term. <br />1. Public Hearing: Mayor McCarty opened the Public Hearing at 7:21 p.m. <br />Mr. Whiting noted that this would allow for a second extension of the existing cable franchise ordinance, <br />enabling a new agreement to be negotiated and completed. <br />With no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:23 p.m. <br />2. Review of Community Center Phase II Construction Plans. <br />Mr. Whiting explained that Resolution No. 5207 would approve the Plans and Specifications for Phase II <br />of the Community Center and Authorize the taking of bids for construction. Resolution No. 5209 would <br />authorize WAI Continuum to complete a Wetlands Delineation Report for the community center site. <br />Mr. Dean Olson, of WAI Continuum, explained that on Monday, January 19th, there was a meeting at the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District to review the plans for the proposed project.
