Page 6 <br />April 13, 1998 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />H. Consideration of Resolution No. 5525, a Resolution Approving the Northwest Youth and Family <br />Services Agreement. <br />Mr. Whiting noted that this item was reviewed at the last Council work session. The agreement does not <br />change the amount that the city contributes and staff recommends the approval of this Resolution which <br />authorizes the Mayor and the Clerk Administrator to execute the document. The agreement has been <br />reviewed the City Attorney. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Quick to Approve Resolution NO. 5525, A Resolution Approving the <br />Northwest Youth and Family Services Agreement. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />8. REPORTS: <br />Council member Quick: no report. <br />Council member Gunn: no report. <br />Council member Stigney: no report. <br />Acting Mayor Koopmeiners: Mr. Koopmeiners reported that on Apri123, 1998 the City of Mounds <br />View will be the host of the Ramsey County Emergency Management Disaster Drill. This drill will be <br />conducted at Silverview Park and will train emergency responders for a major disaster. The drill will <br />begin at 5:00 p.m. and go until approximately 7:00 p.m. There will be a significant number of emergency <br />vehicles and equipment in the area. <br />City Administrator: no report. <br />City Attorney: Mr. Long noted that the legislature has adjourned. There was some legislation which <br />did not get enacted in relation to the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the Metropolitan Council. <br />He feels that it did get the entire legislature focusing on the Metropolitan Airport Commission's procedures <br />and how they are dealing with the communities. It may lead to some stronger legislation at the next <br />session. <br />9. NEXT COUNCIL WORKSESSION.• May 4. -1998 - 6:OO~rn. <br />NEXT COUNCIL MEETING: April 27. 1998 - 7:00 p.m. <br />10.
