RESOLUTION NO. 9013 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br />ISMAIL OMAR, COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, Ismail Omar's position as Community Service Officer for the City of <br />Mounds View was eliminated and his last day of employment was August 24, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Omar <br />is eligible for a cash payout of his vacation and compensatory time; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Omar had less than two (2) years of service and is not eligible <br />for sick time payout; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Omar's balance of accrued and unused vacation and <br />compensatory time is 18.94 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Omar's rate of pay upon resignation was $18.56 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves severance to Ismail Omar consistent with the Mounds View Personnel Manual <br />as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation 14.94 <br />$18.56 <br />$277.29 <br />Compensatory Time 4.00 <br />$18.56 <br />$74.24 <br />18.94 <br />$18.56 <br />$351.53 Total Severance <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />(sea'I) <br />Adopted this 10th day of September, 2018. <br />Carol A.
