RESOLUTION 9017 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING ADDITIONAL EXPENSES FOR REST ROOM/MECHANICAL BUILDING <br />FOR THE SPLASH PAD AT CITY HALL PARK <br />WHEREAS, City Council approved the installation of a new Play Ground and <br />Splash Pad at City Hall Park; and, <br />WHEREAS, Material and components of the splash pad have begun to arrive; and, <br />WHEREAS, Upon review of the equipment, it was discovered that the proposed <br />building size, to house the equipment, would not be adequate for the pump and controls; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, An increased building size from 20'x20' to 20'X26' would remedy the <br />equipment housing situation; and, <br />WHEREAS, The increased cost of the larger building will be $17,335.00 along <br />with $11,956.00.00 for concrete, labor and freight. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Accept the proposal from Minnesota Wisconsin Playground for the revised building <br />expansion at a cost of $17,335.00 along with $11,956.00 for concrete, labor and <br />freight; totaling $29,291.00 to be funded from account 480-4470-7050. <br />Adopted this 10th day of September, 2018 <br />Carol A.
