Appendix B — Rice Creek Watershed District <br />The Rice Creek Watershed District was established in 1972 to "conserve and restore the water resources <br />of the District for the beneficial use of current and future generations." It is a governmental organization <br />managed by a Board of Managers appointed by the county commissions of Anoka, Ramsey, and <br />Washington Counties. <br />The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) encompasses approximately 186 square miles, including <br />portions of 28 cities, and four counties, north of St. Paul. The RCWD is a local unit of government with ad <br />valorem tax authority, responsible for addressing regional water management issues in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes 103B and 103D <br />Board of Directors: <br />Patricia Preiner <br />President <br />Barbara Haake <br />1st Vice President <br />John Waller <br />2nd Vice President <br />Steve Wagamon <br />Treasurer <br />Mike Bradley <br />Secretary <br />Appendix C — Rule C — Storm Water Management <br />Appendix D — Bylaws of the RCWD <br />
