Mounds View City Council July 23, 2018 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he was excited to see the new direction CTV would be 1 <br />taking going forward. Ms. Heally explained all programming was being reviewed and new 2 <br />approaches were being considered for the future. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Mayor Mueller indicated she was pleased CTV would have a fresh set of eyes overseeing all 5 <br />programming. She wished Ms. Heally all the best in her new position. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Further discussion ensued regarding Ms. Heally’s prior work experience. 8 <br /> 9 <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS 10 <br />A. Ordinance 947, Second Reading and Summary Publication, Updating and 11 <br />Amending Chapter 400 of the City Code – ROLL CALL VOTE. 12 <br /> 13 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the Second Reading of Ordinance 14 <br />947 which would amend Chapter 400 of the City Code regarding Commissions. He commented 15 <br />on the proposed amendments and recommended approval. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Mayor Mueller asked what the difference was between the work staff was doing on the City 18 <br />Code and the work completed by the Charter Commission. City Administrator Zikmund 19 <br />described the differences between his work and the work done by the Charter Commission. 20 <br /> 21 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Gunn. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 947, 22 <br />Second Reading and Summary Publication, Updating and Amending Chapter 400 of the City 23 <br />Code. 24 <br /> 25 <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. 26 <br /> 27 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 28 <br /> 29 <br />B. Ordinance 948, Second Reading and Summary Publication, Amending 30 <br />Chapter 200 of City Code, Contracting Provisions – ROLL CALL VOTE. 31 <br /> 32 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the Second Reading of Ordinance 33 <br />948 which would amend Chapter 200 of the City Code. He commented on the proposed 34 <br />amendments and recommended approval. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Bergeron commented the proposed amendment would keep the City consistent 37 <br />with State Statute. City Administrator Zikmund reported this was the case. 38 <br /> 39 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron.
