CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />February 8,1999 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />- 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />1. MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. ROLL CALL: Coughlin, Stigney, Marty, Quick, and Thomason. <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Council tabled approval of the minutes to the next Council meeting. <br />4. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />Mayor Coughlin presented a Certificate of Appreciation to retired firefighter Scott Drewitz, for <br />• 22 years of service. He then noted that Mr. Drewitz had attended more than 3150 fires and over <br />1000 weekly drills. <br />5. REPORTS <br />Council Member Stigney reported that the Planning Commission had reviewed its by-laws and <br />made minor changes. He also noted that the ordinance concerning outdoor produce sales was <br />discussed. <br />Mayor Coughlin extended a public thank you to Poncho Henderson who provided him with a <br />tour of the under belly of the St. Paul Sewer Treatment Facility and showed him the new systems <br />in place for Y2K. <br />Mayor Coughlin indicated he had attended a legislative special session with legislators from the <br />area and a good discussion was held. <br />Mayor Coughlin extended a public congratulations to Officer Tim Brennan who received an <br />award from Northwest Youth and Family Services for his work with the DARE program and <br />other outreach programs. <br />Mayor Coughlin extended a public thank you to Bruce Vento for holding the town hall meeting. <br />He then noted that he, Council Member Thomason, and Council Member Marty had an <br />
