RESOLUTION NO. 8986 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL ARCVIEW® <br />LICENENSES, ADDITIONAL SMART PHONES/CONTRACT UPGRADES AND <br />PROCURE QUOTES FOR GPS LOCATION DEVICE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to research asset management software <br />for public works to manage publicly owned infrastructure, and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council included this directive in the probation requirements for <br />Public Works Director Don Peterson and Administrator Nyle Zikmund, and, <br />WHEREAS, Director Peterson provided council information and recommendation at <br />their July 2, 2018 workshop; and, <br />WHEREAS, the council was supportive of the technology and recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the allocation of up to $2,400 for additional ArcView licensees, acquiring <br />additional smart phones as needed and as current approved budgets permit and to acquire <br />quotes for a GPS location device. <br />Adopted this 9th day of July, 2018. <br />Carol Mueller, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
