The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 500, Chapter <br />504, Section 504.01, Subdivision 6 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - <br />underlined material and deleting the strieke material as follows: <br />Subd.6. EXCEPTIONS TO DEFINITIONS: For purposes of this Chapter, the terms <br />PEDDLER, SOLICITOR, and TRANSIENT MERCHANT shall not apply to: <br />a. Non-commercial door-to-door advocates. Nothing within this Section shall be <br />interpreted to prohibit or restrict non-commercial door-to-door advocates. Any person <br />engaging in door-to-door advocacy shall not be required to register as a solicitor under Section <br />504.02. <br />bf. Any person conducting the type of sale commonly known as garage sales, rummage <br />sales, or estate sales. <br />Kg. Any person participating in an organized multi -person bazaar or flea market. <br />dh. Any person conducting an auction as a properly licensed auctioneer. <br />ei.
