CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 9,1999 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />1. MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. ROLL CALL: Coughlin, Marty, Quick, Stigney, and Thomason. <br />NOT PRESENT: None <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />A. Monday, August 9,1999 City Council Agenda <br />Mayor Coughlin asked the Council if anyone would like to add items to the agenda. <br />Mayor Coughlin requested the addition of Item 10-I, Discussion Regarding the Information <br />Request Policies of the City of Mounds View. <br />Council Member Marty requested clarification of Item 10-I. Mayor Coughlin stated, as per staff <br />. ..memorandum, there- had been a significant amount of concern and consternation over the City's <br />request of information policy, and the timeliness of the process. <br />City Administrator Whiting requested the withdrawal of Item 10-C, Right-of--Way Ordinance <br />No. 635, Continuation of Second Reading. He stated this item would be available for <br />consideration at the August 23, 1999 City Council Meeting. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Thomason. To accept the July 12, 1999 City Council Agenda as <br />presented, with the addition of Item 10-I, and the withdrawal of Item 10-C. <br />Ayes - 5. Nays - 0. Motion carried. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. Monday, July 26,1999 City Council Minutes <br />Mayor Coughlin requested clarification of page 5, first full paragraph, second sentence to <br />indicate "He stated he had grown up in a strict religious background, and dancin was something <br />that was >Q highly touted." <br />Mayor Coughlin requested all inferences to "Minneapolis term limits coalition vs. Keith" be <br />corrected to state "Minneapolis term limits coalition vs. Keefe" <br />1 C:\ADMIN\MINUTES\CC\8-9-99.CC <br />
