RESOLUTION NO. 9022 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PROMOTION OF KERRIE KANE TO THE UTILITY BILLING/ <br />ACCOUNTS PAYABLE TECHNICIAN POSITION <br />WHEREAS, Kerrie Kane has performed exemplary as the City's receptionist; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Kane has shown a desire to learn and take on more duties and <br />has supported the finance department by learning many of the duties required for the <br />Utility Billing/Accounts Payable position; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been supportive of cross -training Ms. Kane in <br />preparation for filling the position after the retirement of Debbie Jasper; and <br />WHEREAS, the pay range for the position is as follows: <br />Step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step: <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Ste 5 <br />$23.40 <br />$24.14 <br />$24.86 <br />$26.33 <br />$27.79 <br />$29.25 <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Kane is recommend to be assigned to Step 3 of the wage scale <br />effective October 1, 2018, in accordance with the adopted Personnel Manual; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1.37 of the Personnel Manual, Ms. Kane shall be <br />subject to a six-month probationary period and after one year in the UB/AP Technician <br />position, advance to Step 4. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves the following: <br />1. Kerrie Kane shall be promoted to the Utility Billing/Accounts Payable Technician <br />position effective October 1, 2018, and be assigned to Step 3 of the pay range. <br />2. Ms. Kane shall be subject to a six month promotional probationary period and after <br />one year of satisfactory performance will advance to Step 4. <br />Adopted this 8'" Day of October, 2018 <br />Aw�_ <br />Carol A.
