RESOLUTION NO. 9023 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PROMOTION OF JACOB MARTIN TO HOUSING/CODE/FIRE <br />INSPECTOR POSITION <br />WHEREAS, Jacob Martin was hired as the Housing/Code Inspector; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Martin has shown a desire to learn and take on more duties and <br />to that end, explored taking on the duties of Fire Inspector; and <br />WHEREAS, the pay range for the position is as follows: <br />Stdp 1 <br />IStep 15 <br />Step 2 <br />Ste 3 <br />Step:4 <br />Ste 5 <br />$27.80 <br />$28.67 <br />$29.53 <br />$31.28 <br />$33.01 <br />$34.75 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Martin is recommend to be assigned to Step 4 of the wage scale <br />effective October 1, 2018, in accordance with the adopted Personnel Manual. <br />NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves the following: <br />1. Jacob Martin shall be promoted to the Housing/Code/Fire Inspector position <br />effective October 1, 2018, and be assigned to Step 4 of the pay range. <br />2. Mr. Martin shall be subject to a six month promotional probationary period and on <br />his one year anniversary (July 9) will move to Step 5. <br />"ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 22nd Day of October, 2018 <br />Carol A.
