RESOLUTION NO. 9026 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2019 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds <br />to improve recycling participation by the public; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administration and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation <br />among city residents through education, awareness and incentives; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this <br />is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation <br />benefits the public health, safety and welfare of the community as a whole. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby authorizes staff to submit an application for preliminary 2019 SCORE funding in <br />the amount of $31,455 and authorizes acceptance of any allocated funding. <br />Adopted this 22°d day of October, 2018 <br />lig d��� <br />Carol A.
