RESOLUTION 7142 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />IMPLEMENTING TIER II WATER SPRINKLING AND IRRIGATION <br />REGULATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Emergency Water Conservation Regulations of the <br />City Code (section 906.12) allows for water sprinkling and irrigation regulations to <br />be implemented; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 23, 2007 the City Council approved Resolution <br />7121 adopting Water Sprinkling and Irrigation Regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, at the August 6, 2007, City Council Work Session the <br />City Council expressed a desire to implement Tier II restrictions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />That Tier II Restrictions of Water Sprinkling and Irrigation <br />Regulations adopted on July 23, 2007 via Resolution 7121 are <br />hereby implemented. <br />2. The Director of Public Works/City Engineer is hereby ordered <br />implement Tier II watering restrictions. <br />3. Said Tier II watering restrictions shall be in effect until September 30, <br />2007. <br />4. Notice of said Tier II watering restrictions shall be published in the <br />City's official newspaper, on the City's electronic message board, <br />on the City website site, and posted on City property as per the <br />City's approved Water Sprinkling and Irrigation Regulations <br />Adopted this 13t" day of August 2007. <br />(ATTEST) <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />(SEAL) ~~~~ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />
