The following exceptions will apply to Tier #1 and Tier #2: <br />Private Wells. <br />• The City of Mounds View watering multi public uses facilities /parks or <br />athletic fields which require more frequent watering to prevent <br />unreasonable damage. <br />.The hand watering of plants, flowers, gardens, or trees using a hose. <br />.Exemptions will be made for new sod and seed for 30 days with a permit <br />issued from the Public Works Department. <br />.Other exemptions will be washing of vehicles, filling swimming pools, and <br />children playing in a hose operated sprinkler or water toy. <br />The following exceptions will apply to Tier #3: <br />• Private Wells. <br />.The hand watering of plants, flowers, gardens, or trees using a hose. <br />.Exemptions will be made for new sod and seed for 30 days with a permit <br />issued from the Public Works Department. <br />.Other exemptions will be children playing in a hose operated sprinkler or <br />water toy. <br />This Restriction will always be Tier #1 unless ordered by the Director of Public <br />Works/City Engineer after notification of the Clerk-Administrator and the Mayor. <br />If Tier #2 or Tier #3 is implemented, notice will be published in the City's official <br />newspaper, on the City's electronic message board, on the City website site, and <br />posted on City property. <br />Penalties for violation of the Emergency Water Conservation Regulations of City <br />Code will be: <br />1St violation written warning <br />2"d violation $25.00 fine <br />3rd violation $50.00 fine <br />4th violation $100.00 fine <br />5th violation $200.00 fine <br />6th violation turned over to the City Attorney for criminal <br /> prosecution of theft <br />These administrative fines will be subject to annual revision based on the current <br />adopted City Fee Schedule. <br />ity Administrator Date <br />Effective Date: July 23, 2007 <br />Revision Date: <br />
