RESOLUTION 7110 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PARKS IMPROVEMENT PLAN AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASE OF ITEM5 ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2007 PARKS <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission have provided <br />recommendation on several minor revisions and updates to the Parks <br />Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, on .tune 26, 2007 Parks and Recreation meeting, the <br />Commissioners made a motion to submit the final recommended Parks <br />Improvement Plan to the City Council for consideration of approval and inclusion <br />in future budgets and the Capital Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Parks Improvement Plan includes several items <br />scheduled for purchase in 2007 from the Park Dedication Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the Park Dedication Fund, Construction Account (Account <br />285-4470-7050) of the approved 2007 Budget has $35,000.00 budgeted for the <br />purchase of the items identified to be purchased and installed in 2007 according <br />to the Parks Improvement Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows; <br />1. The Parks Improvement Plan dated June 26, 2007 is hereby approved. <br />2. The purchase of items identified for purchase and installation in 2007 <br />according to the Parks Improvement Plan is hereby approved. <br />3. Staff is hereby authorized to obtain quotes for the various items to be <br />purchased, thus adhering to City Charter and Chapter 429 of state statute. <br />4. The estimated cost of the 2007 items, which is $33,400.00, is to be funded <br />from the construction account of the Park Dedication Fund (Fund 251) of <br />the approved 2007 Budget. <br />
