RESOLUTION 7125 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING DISPOSITION OF THE LIONS PASSENGER BUS <br />WHEREAS, at the June 4, 2007 City Council Work Session, the <br />use of the Lions Passenger Bus was discussed; and <br />WHEREAS, based on lack of use in recent years along with its <br />operational costs, the City Council indicated that they would be agreeable to <br />dispose of this bus from the City's fleet, provided that Staff discuss this proposal <br />with the Mounds View Lion's Club; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Lion's Club discussed this proposal <br />at their June 21, 2007 meeting and determined that they would not have an issue <br />with the City's proposal to remove this vehicle from the fleet; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the Lions Passenger Bus <br />be disposed of via public auction with proceeds from the sale being deposited in <br />to the City's General Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />That the Lions Passenger Bus be disposed of via public auction. <br />2.
