RESOLUTION 7124 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF BLAINE REGARDING STREET <br />AUTHORITY FOR CORAL SEA STREET NE SOUTH OF 85T" AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, Coral Sea Street NE south of 85th Avenue lies partly within <br />the City of Blaine and partly within the City of Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Blaine has always maintained this segment of <br />street; and <br />WHEREAS, with the upgrade and reconstruction of Coral Sea Street <br />associated with the Medtronic development, the City of Blaine thought it would be <br />appropriate to formalize an agreement between Blaine and Mounds View <br />regarding the authority and maintenance of Coral Sea Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Blaine has submitted a draft Joint Powers <br />Agreement regarding street authority for Coral Sea Street which assigns sole <br />authority and maintenance of Coral Sea Street to the City of Blaine; and <br />WHEREAS, this agreement has been reviewed by the City's legal <br />counsel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council <br />of the City of, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />That the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Blaine regarding <br />street authority for Coral Sea Street NE South of 85th Avenue is <br />hereby approved. <br />2.
