RESOLUTION 7081 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURCHASE BROADBAND SERVICE FOR THE <br />COMMUNITY CENTER BANQUET FACILITY AND LOBBY AREA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View desires to have broadband service available for <br />patrons of the banquet facility; and <br />WEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this at a work session; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is cost effective to purchase service <br />from Comcast for a two year period for $75 per month with the cost to be shared with other <br />tenants of the Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has also determined that it is beneficial to provide wireless <br />access points for the banquet center and the lobby area. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the Mayor to <br />sign atwo-year contract with Comcast for broadband service, staff is directed to provide wireless <br />access points for the banquet center and the lobby area and increase budget line 252-4350-3100 <br />by $300 for the remainder of 2007. <br />Adopted this 14th day of May 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />Rob Marty, Mayor ~ <br />(SEAL) C_/I `- ` <br />K rt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />
