RESOLUTION 7071 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE MULTIPLE DWELLING LICENSE AT 7750 SILVER LAKE ROAD WHEREAS, Michael J. Fox and Jennifer Fox are the owners of athree leve123-unit multiple dwelling property located at 7750 Silver Lake Rd, Zoned R-4, High Density Residential, legally described as follows: VELMEIR CVS ADDITION THAT PART OF LOT 3 BLK 1 IN T.I. 90 WHEREAS, on March 22, 2007, Staff received a report of water leaking into 3rd floor apartments at the apartment building located at 7750 Silver Lake Road; and WHEREAS, on March 22, 2007, Staff inspected the premises at 7750 Silver Lake Road, issued a correction notice to Michael J. Fox citing violations of the City Housing Maintenance Code, and scheduled a follow up inspection for Apri16, 2007; and WHEREAS, on April 6, 2007, Staff performed a follow up inspection and determined that corrective actions had not been completed as required; and WHEREAS, on April 9, 2007, Staff issued a revised correction notice to Michael J. Fox requiring completion of corrective actions no later than April 19, 2007 or the matter would be referred to the City Council consistent with Chapter 1012 of the City Code; and WHEREAS, corrective actions had not been completed in a satisfactory manner on Apri119, 2007 and Staff had not received a mitigation plan outlining actions planned to remedy the conditions present. NO W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that if all relevant corrective actions have not been completed by May 29, 2007, the Multiple Dwelling license for the entire premises at 7750 Silver Lake Road shall be suspended based on the following: 1. The City Council finds that the multiple dwelling property at 7750 Silver Lake Road is currently in violation of Chapter 1005 of the City Code (Housing Maintenance) 2. In accordance with Section 1012.02 Subdivision 9c of the City Code and effective May 29, 2007, the City Council does hereby suspend the Multiple Dwelling license for the entire premises at 7750 Silver Lake Road. 3. Rental units that are vacant at the date of this Multiple Dwelling License suspension may not be offered for occupancy. 4. No rental units becoming vacant in the facility may be relet or offered for occupancy during the period the Multiple Dwelling License is suspended.
