3. The 2007 Winter Seasonal Public Works Position is approved - a <br />total of one (1) position. This position would start approximately in <br />early December 2007 and terminate in March of 2008. <br />4. Apart-time seasonal position is approved. <br />5. All Public Works seasonal positions will be filled, with new hires <br />starting at the hourly rate of $10.75/hr with the possibility of <br />advancing to $11.25/hr after one month of satisfactory <br />performance. Returning seasonal workers and the engineering <br />intern will be compensated at a comparable wage to be determined <br />by Council. <br />6. Each position will work forty (40) hours per week; however the Fall <br />and Winter positions may work less than forty (40) hours per week. <br />7.
