RESOLUTION 7140 (Amended) <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF AN UPDATED PRELIMINARY <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE 2008 SREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, on May 22, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution 6823 <br />authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and the selection <br />of a consultant for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 11, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution <br />6982 approving the Feasibility Report for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility <br />improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 12, 2007 the City Council approved Resolution <br />7018 approving the sufficiency of petition in opposition to the 2007-2008 Street <br />Improvement Project, ending project consideration as proposed. <br />WHEREAS, on April 16, 2007 the City established a Streets and Utilities <br />Task Force to develop recommendations in creating an overall Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 6, 2007 the Streets and Utilities Task Force <br />recommended the development of a Street and Utility Improvement Project to be <br />constructed in 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the area recommended to be included in this project is <br />Neighborhood Area "A" as per the original Street and Utility Program Map dated <br />January 2006 (excluding Sherwood Drive from Long Lake Road to Edgewood <br />Drive); and <br />WHEREAS, Neighborhood Area "A" was originally included in the <br />Feasibility Report for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, updating the Feasibility Report should commence <br />immediately if it is desired to have a street and utility project constructed in 2008; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the report should be updated based on the tentative design <br />recommendations from the Streets and Utilities Task Force; and <br />WHEREAS, it is noted that said recommendations have not been <br />finalized, nor have they been officially approved by the City Council at this time. <br />
