RESOLUTION 7140 (Amended) CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF AN UPDATED PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE 2008 SREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, on May 22, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution 6823 authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and the selection of a consultant for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, on December 11, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution 6982 approving the Feasibility Report for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility improvement Project; and WHEREAS, on February 12, 2007 the City Council approved Resolution 7018 approving the sufficiency of petition in opposition to the 2007-2008 Street Improvement Project, ending project consideration as proposed. WHEREAS, on April 16, 2007 the City established a Streets and Utilities Task Force to develop recommendations in creating an overall Street and Utility Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, on August 6, 2007 the Streets and Utilities Task Force recommended the development of a Street and Utility Improvement Project to be constructed in 2008; and WHEREAS, the area recommended to be included in this project is Neighborhood Area "A" as per the original Street and Utility Program Map dated January 2006 (excluding Sherwood Drive from Long Lake Road to Edgewood Drive); and WHEREAS, Neighborhood Area "A" was originally included in the Feasibility Report for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, updating the Feasibility Report should commence immediately if it is desired to have a street and utility project constructed in 2008; and WHEREAS, the report should be updated based on the tentative design recommendations from the Streets and Utilities Task Force; and WHEREAS, it is noted that said recommendations have not been finalized, nor have they been officially approved by the City Council at this time.
